职位描述: Job Scope: SMT Engineer is responsible for all aspects of surface mount equipment under his/her control and its fitness for purpose. Develop, execute and monitor manufacturing technologies used in the manufacture of customer product. Define, qualify, implement and capital equipment used in manufacturing Job Responsibilities:
Maintain all Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production line equipment to maximize equipment performance. Innovate new approaches and make recommendations for process improvements. Communicate with Factory Support, Teammates, Production and Engineering to achieve maximum output efficiency of machinery while adhering to all process guidelines. Provide formal and informal training for department Technicians and Manufacturing personnel. Assist in the development and implementation of system level Predictive and Preventive maintenance practices that maximize capital assets, and increase production efficiency. Board Assembly (PCBA) processes including evaluating process cost, quality, and capability alternatives, and performing process characterization and optimization using designed experiments, and problem solving and decision making tools. Develops equipment, materials, and process performance requirements, performs vendor searches and equipment evaluation to ensure adequate capability to produce quality product in required quantities at an effective cost. Assist machine relocation, installation, and setup, recommended spares. Optimization of pick & placement program, maximize SMT line throughput. Support Process Engineering and Product Engineering on designing for Manufacturing activities and continuous improvement projects as related to: Cycle Times & Line Balance, Methods, and Ergonomics. Perform high level maintenance and calibration, ensure machine process precision. Provide technical support for new product launches including performing design reviews for improvements in manufacturability. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent academic credentials. Minimum 1-2 years working experience in related field. Good communication, Maths, and computer skills. Bilingual in Chinese and English. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
