December 20, 2004 - Speedline Technologies today announced that CeTaQ Americas has verified the alignment and print performance specifications for Speedline Technologies'' next generation MPM AccelaT stencil printer. The independent certification was undertaken by the industry''s foremost capability measurement specialists for SMT equipment worldwide.
Speedline Technologies, Inc. (http://www.speedlinetech.com) will officially unveil the new printer at APEX 2005. Backed by two new U.S. patents with nine more pending, the printer introduces dramatic industry-shifting
innovations in parallel processing technology. The Accela printer is designed to meet the highest performance and most challenging applications facing manufacturers building the highest volume and most complex printed
circuit boards.
"The Accela printer produces the most boards per hour of any industry printer - delivering raw throughput gains of more than 20% over the closest competitor," said Bob Boyes, product manager at Speedline Technologies, Inc.
"The new MPM Accela printer has the best accuracy and repeatability specifications of any printer on the market."
The independent certification by CeTaQ verifies that the Accela printer will meet +/- 12.5 microns at 6 Sigma on alignment and +/- 25 microns at 6 Sigma for printing performance.
"A certification by CeTaQ confirms a machine''s stated specifications and performance capabilities through state of the art measurement technology and analysis," said Mike Sivigny, General Manager, CeTaQ Americas, Nashua, NH. "CeTaQ Americas provides state of the art measurement technology for equipment and process capability analysis. As a professional solutions provider to the electronics and semiconductor industries, CeTaQ Americas offers products and services related to understanding machine and process performance. This brings to market a new level of sophistication for the independent evaluation and comparison of production equipment."
"The CeTaQ certification means that telecom, CEM/EMS, and automotive electronics producers that require ultra-high throughput, high yield performance, and the highest accuracy and repeatability in the production of increasingly complex boards need look no further than the new Accela printer for the verified market leader," Boyes said.
